In the splendid setting of the tenth anniversary of the Palaindoor Banca Marche Palas Ancona celebrated Friday, February 6, 1015 in the presence of the mayor of the city, Valeria Mancinelli, the President of the National FIDAL Alfio Giomi, the Secretary-General of CONI Roberto Fabbricini, the President of CONI Regional Alfio Sturani and the President of FIDAL regional Giuseppe Scorzoso, will take place today the first day of the Italian Indoor Championships Juniors and U23, the day in which there are four race walking events.

 

3.000m indoor junior women

 

Immediately starring Noemi Stella that on his debut in the junior category code immediately the best performance on the indoor distance in 12:53.32, also obtained with excellent technical performance.

These are her split times: 1.000: 4:17.3, 2.000: 8:37.6

In second place Eleonora Domninici in 13:35.56 (personal best) in front of Cindy Porcu (14: 29.47).

 

Noemi Stella gets, together with the best Italian performance indoor, also the first time under 13'.

The previous best italian performance in indoor junior women belonged to Antonella Palmisano in 13:07.91 and was obtained always in Ancona on March 6, .2010.

 

Thirteen athletes at the start, 12 of which arrived and 1 DQ

 

 

5.000m indoor U23 men

 

As expected victory to Vito Minei (20:18.88) in front of Marco Amati, silver in 21:22:04, (two red cards against him), and Daniele Todisco, bronze in 21:29.84.

Just over 23' Leonardo Baldacchini and the new entry of Veneto Alberto Zaupa, coached by former head coach of Italian race walking Vittorio Visini, which together with Vito Minei is among the top five, to be immune of red card by the jury.

 

Eleven athletes at the start, of which nine arrived, one DNF (Alessandro Maltoni, after the good race on the 30 km of last Sunday, with fever problems) and 1 DQ (Michele Antonelli who had probably not yet disposed of the effort of 50 km).

 

 

5,000 indoor junior men

 

Here also no surprise.

Victory to Gregorio Angelini in 21:01:02, in front of Gianluca Picchiottino (21:11.56).

Niccolò Coppini bronze in 22:31.01.

 

Fifteen athletes at the start, of which 11 arrived and 3 DQ.

 

 

3,000 indoor U23 women

 

Anna Clemente (it seems an injury last hour) did not start.

Has no difficulty in winning Mariavittoria Becchetti in 13:18:38, nice to see even technically.

Silver to Elena Poli in 13: 58.16.

Bronze to Nicole Colombi, (two red card against her for bent knee) in 14:19.62

 

Six athletes at the start, all arrived.
