After finishing just before Christmas 2014 his court case related to positive anti-doping test on July 30, 2012, Alex Schwazer has also concluded the affair with the Doping Prosecutor of Coni for having "eluded the controls" when he was in the house of former girlfriend Carolina Kostner, a few days before the official control (violation art. 2.3).

 

We remember that last December, the Prosecutor of Bolzano had accepted the plea bargain to 8 months (suspended) and 6,000 Euro fine for the offense which the Italian criminal law.

 

Following his positivity erythropoietin detected July 30, 2012 he had already been disqualified, always from the National Anti-Doping Tribunal for a period of three and a half years (42 months) on the four, requested by the Prosecutor Antidoping of CONI, as of 31.7.2012 and ending on 30.1.2016.

 

The request of the Doping Prosecutor of CONI represented by chief prosecutor Tammaro Maiello and Deputy Mario Vigna is substantially for another 3 months.

 

A few minutes ago the sentence: a new conviction for Alex Schwarzer who have been inflicted three-month ban for circumvention of the control (standard 2.3 sports anti-doping rules) in addition to 3 years and 6 months already inflicted. So now the walker can not compete until April 29, 2016.

In the judgment is a reference to art. 11.2, where the existence of the conditions is left to the office of the Prosecutor Antipoping who will decide whether or not to initiate the procedure.

In fact there is a window for a further sentence reduction.
