The Oriental Club Pechão (female) and the Rio Maior Swimming Club (male) are the winners of the Cup of Portugal in Race Walking, which was held this Sunday, March 1, at Dr. Magalhaes Pessoa Stadium in Leiria.
Female CO Pechão obtained 54 points, followed by Grupo Desportivo Chao Duro with 18 points, and the Casa do Povo de Carrorios, in third place with 12 points.
In men, close battle: at the end the victory went to Swimming Club Rio Maior with 18 points against 17 of the Athletics Club of Seia and 16 points of CO Pechão.

10,000m track men
Sergio Vieira won the race in 42:31.28 (and he continued up to 20,000m finished in 1:24:27.7) in front of Miguel Carvalho in 44:18:27 (and he continued up to 20,000m finished in 1:29:33.1).
Third place went to Rui Coelho in 44.54:89 (and he continued up to 20,000m finished in 1:30:53.8).
10.000m track Women
Daniela Cardoso won the race in 47: 47.04 in front of Mara Ribeiro in 48:24.17 and Mariana Mota in 50:40.72
