11/03/2015   Publication of blood data

From 12 February in Italy has returned to speak on TV’s about Alex Schwazer.

In that data, at the CONI press conference, as indicated on his website, Alex Schwazer had stated the following:

"I want to find my new project, beautiful and serious: this is my ambition; but the 50 km need to be prepared.

I want to show that is possible to win without doping. I will not take the place to anyone, but I still want to have a chance to do my time performances.

Competing is important ... to get the bib is important.

I'm fine. I want to walk. Somehow I will return to racing.

I am convinced that in the 50 km if I’m fine I can excel.

I was wrong, I paid and I'm paying my price. I had to do these years of ups and downs to understand that an athlete has its value, that the Sport should not become an obsession. I do not want to look right and left, see what others are doing, but I want to focus on myself. I'm training every day, alone.

I do 250 km a week, walk.

It would be nice to have a close goal.

I’m available for any anti-doping project.

Always win who has more class, not what he used doping.

I trust in the reduction of the banned period of three years and six months to be able to return to express myself better.

I thank those who stood by me all these years, and in particular the lawyer Gerhard Brandstaetter and my manager Giulia Mancini”.

During the same press conference he had announced that he would publish on his website all his blood data (by WADA) from 2009, which promptly made in the bottom of the same.

Meanwhile the same athlete contacted Marcia dal Mondo, in view of the fact that the reading of information on the walking is now a world wide character, asking the willingness to publish on Marcia dal Mondo web-site, the same blood data, so that their spread can be achieved and interpreted by anyone in particular also by the athletes who practice this sport.

We do not hide our surprise to this particular request by Alex Schwazer.

We reflected for a moment, and then we remembered an old "adagio”: those “who make communication should have the courage to always write what you heard, but at the same time you have to have the humility to bring the thoughts of others properly, no shots of scissors and lack of context that end up radically change the thought and the will of the respondent”.

So, we agreed to do it.

Marcia dal Mondo has no, however, experiences and special knowledge of blood values, so we will refrain from any comment; the only thing done was the translation of the ematic acronyms.

Were then published in the "Prevenzione - (Prevention)" (which can be accessed directly through the links below) the following three tables:

Table 1: WADA data at the most important competitions of the IAAF-EAA period 2005-2008

Table 2: Data of the hospitalization in Saluzzo as result of pancreatitis (from 26.2.2009 to 28.2.2009)

Table 3: WADA blood values from 9.2.2009 to 3.12.2011.

So we tried to make known to the readers of Marcia dal Mondo these blood values, which among other things are also detectable directly on the website of Alex Schwazer (www.alexschwazer.com).
