Were held in Cassino this morning the Italian Championship of 20 Km road walk for both men and women categories absolute (Senior and U23) and for the Junior category.
Alongside a race valid for the Clubs championship U18 boys and girls on the distance of 10 km.
20 km men
The victory went to Massimo Stano in 1:22:16 which represents for him the personal best improving the results obtained last year at the World Cup Taicang (1:23:01).
Second place went to Federico Tontodonati in 1:22:33.
Bronze to Leonardo Dei Tos in 1:22:58 personal best better than 2:40 compared to the recent PD obtained on March 8 in Arles (FRA) when Yohann Diniz set a new world record.
These three athletes dropped below the threshold of 1:23:00 and got the better on Francesco Fortunato and Teodorico Caporaso both in 1:24:44, which in turn have fallen below the threshold of 1:25:00.

20 km Junior Men
The victory went to Gregorio Angelini in 1:29:16, the only to fall below the threshold of 1:30:00.
Second place went to Gianluca Picchiottino in 1:30:48.
Third place went to Stefano Chiesa in 1:33:18
Eleven athletes at the start, including 7 arrived and 4 DQ
10 km U18 boys
Giacomo Brandi wins the race in 44:55.
Second place went to Simone Mansutti in 45:48.
Third place went to Mattia Iorillo (46:13) which has the short better on Nicolas Fanelli (46:15).
Twenty-five athletes at the start of which 22 arrived, and four DQ
20 km Women
Wins the race without any problem Valentina Trapletti with a time of 1:31:48, a time that represents the new personal best athlete (previous 1:32:53 obtained in Chiasso - Switzerland on Oct. 5, 2008) and that improves 1:42 the time obtained in Arles in France three weeks ago.
Second place for Mariavittoria Becchetti in 1:34:29 which improves 1:16 compared to the personal best achieved in Lugano two weeks ago.
Third place went to Tatyana Gabellone in 1:34:42 herself to improved personal best of 51" with respect to time always got in Lugano.
In fourth place Federica Curiazzi in 1:35:32, also personal best improved by 16" with respect to time obtained in Zurich at the European Championships in 2014.
Fifth place for Serena Pruner (1:36:48) and sixth place for Ilaria Galli (1:39:58) personal best better 3:23 than that obtained in Lugano two weeks ago.
Twenty-three athletes at the start in this race in which the top ten arrive, nine (with the exception of Serena Pruner) have obtained the personal best.
Twenty they complete the test and 2 DNF.
20 km junior women
Won the race Eleonora Dominici in 1:41:55.
Second place for Giada Francesca Ciabini in 1:44:57
Third place went to Cindy Porcu in 1:46:08
Twelve athletes at the start of which 11 they complete the race and 1 DQ
10 km U18 girls
Won the race in 51:24 Anthea Mirabello also to the personal best (previous 52:48 obtained at the Ripsto on Feb. 1, 2015).
Second place went to Annalisa Russo in 51:41
Third place went to Francesca Gritti in 52:19 also to PB (in Lugano previous two weeks ago at 53:32) preceding Angelica Mirabello (52:31) also to PB (previous obtained on Feb. 1, 2015 in Riposto 55:08)
Thirty-eight athletes at the start of which 36 they complete the race and 2 DNF
Races of U16 boys and girls are conducted with the Pit Lane Rule.
