Intense Sunday of racing that of May 3, 2015, between those abroad and those in Italy, which saw in Pavia the 13th edition of the international meeting "Graziano Della Valle” which inaugurated the new athletic track.
For the occasion, it was included in the athletic program of the Meeting also a track walk event of 3,000m reserved to female category.
3.000m track walk women
Interesting, to be a race walk event relative to the meeting of the track, the number of female athletes participating.
Fifteen athletes to the start representing four countries: Italy (9 athletes), Spain (1 athlete), Switzerland (2 athletes) and Hungary (3 athletes).
The victory went to Federica Curiazzi who celebrated so recently graduated from the University of Bergamo, and who raced in a good 12:59.18, personal best over the distance, and that is, although given the unusual distance, the world's best performance up to date.
In second place arrived the Spanish Mar Juarez Gallando, U23 coached by Valenti Massana, which completes the race in 13:23:09.
Bronze to the evergreen Rossella Giordano, who at 43 years of age she still gets the luxury of ending the race in an interesting 13:29.25, in front of Nicole Colombi (13: 38.87).
