The distances of the track events were the classic ones of 10.000m walk boys and 5.000m. walk girls.

5.000m track walk girl
Victory to the Chinese Ma Zhenxia in 23:45.19 in front of teammate Qiji Zhuoma (24:05.84).
The bronze went to Japanese Kana Kimura in 24:59.04
