With this poster has opened the funeral of Anna Rita Sidoti in Holy Spirit Church of San Giorgio, Gioiosa Marea today at 4pm.

"I learned with deep sadness the news of the untimely death of Anna Rita Sidoti, Italian and world athletics champion in one of the most demanding specialties such as walking."

The long walk of Anna Rita ended yesterday morning, had its epilogue next to his coach always Salvatore Coletta that has followed throughout her racing career and alongside the former walkers of Tyndaris Pattese, her club, never left,
Salvatore Coletta remembers her with these words: “She was tenacious, determined and when fixed a target she reached.
