After a period of absence the IAAF Walking Center of Saluzzo has revised the presence of the Olympic champion and world silver in Moscow 2013, Chen Ding.

It is no secret that the Chinese champion prefer, for sentimental reasons and music, to train in his hometown with some planned stays, more or less long, in the beautiful Chinese Olympic Centre in altitude Changbaishan on the border between China and North Korea.

The occasion of his return to Saluzzo was given by a technician stage focused to the preparation of the next week's IAAF Challenge to be held in La Coruna which Chen Ding will participate together with other strong athletes of the Chinese team, among which was also present in the winner of the Junior World Cup Taicang 2014, Gao Wenkui.

In this context it was not difficult to convince them to participate, to loosen the legs, a 5.000m track that took place in Fossano Sunday, May 24 and valid as the 4th leg of the Trophy Piedmont.
