Saturday, June 6 the XXIX Grand Prix Internacional de Marcha - Cantones de A Coruna will honor Anna Rita Sidoti.

The pleasant surprise of the Spanish friends led by the volcano that is Dolores Rojas arrived today with this poster and the decision to observe a minute of silence in memory of Anna Rita before the start of the 2016 edition of the traditional event on the 20 km.

The poster portrays Anna Rita Sidoti in the moment of the victory of the 1998 edition of Cantones de A Coruna held on 16.5.1998 on the Olympic distance, at that time, of 10 km.

Anna Rita won with the time of 43:41 in front of Erica Alfridi who arrived second in 43:44.

A memorable one-two for the Italian female race walk to Cantones.
