World walking is not only that of the champions already famous and that of the emerging Countries, but also that of Countries that are racing and trying to get a result that will enable them to get the most aimed goal: to participate in a IAAF world level competition.

In this key we read the presence of countries mostly unknown in the race walking world, as those who participated in the recent South East Asian Games, which still gives a sense of the diffusion of race walk even where we would not have thought.

With the help of the International race walking judge Sardjto, who co-operate with Marcia dal Mondo, we managed to have a brief profile of the winner of the latest edition of the South East Asian Games, the Indonesian Hendro.

Hendro (Indonesia) was born at West Java, on Jan. 25, 1990. His height is 174 cm, and his weight 68 kgs,

He started to start training in walk since his age 14 years old.

He was second at Jakarta 2011 South East Asian Games, and became first in the edition of  Naypiydaw in Myanmar 2013.

He learned very much from his experiences, especially after three times disqualification consecutively, in 2013 international races.
