They are being held in Cheboksary the Championships Russians of road walk.

The races take place on the course that will host the 2016 and 2018 Team World Championship  (formerly the World Cup).

The victory went to Alexander Yargunkin (Jan. 6, 1981) with a time of 3:45:41.

Yargunkin walked for the first 20 km along with Alexsander Sunihunym, a newcomer of 50 km.

After the first 20 km the more experienced Yargunkin has gradually increased the pace moving away from yhr young Sunihunym, who had to settle for second place with a time not exceptional of 4:02:23.

Third place to an old acquaintance of race walk  Sergey Korepanov who finished the race in 4:03:45.

With this result Yargunkin will be recommended to the team in the upcoming World Championships in Beijing in 2015.

For Yargunkin this is the second consecutive title; in fact, he is repeating the success of 2014 when he won on the same course in 3:42:26 in front of Mexican Horacio Nava - off the charts (3:42:51).

This year in Sochi on February 27 Yargunkin had finished fifth in the Winter race walk Championship of Russia on 35 km with a time of 2.30:25.
