Are on in Gwangjiu the Universiade 2015.
At 7:30 local time of today it held the race of the men's 20 km road walk, which saw the victory of the strong Australian athlete Dane Bird-Smith in 1:21:30, an old acquaintance of the European race walking races.
The second place went to the Canadian Benjamin Thorne that with a time of 1:21:33 obtain the season best.
Have had to wait another 33" for the arrival of the third athlete, the Japanese Daisuke Matsunaga who completed the race in 1:22:06.

2 km: in 8:03
4 km: in 8:18 and cumulated of 16:21
6 km: in 8:15 and cumulated of 24:36
8 km: in 8:14 and cumulated of 32:50
10 km: in 8.12 and cumulated of 41.02
12 km: in 8:07 and cumulated of 49:09
14 km: in 8:04 and cumulated of 57:13
16 km: in 8:10 and cumulated of 1:05:23
18 km: in 8:13 and cumulated of 1:13:36
20 km: in 7:54
Until almost the 18th km the race saw the leqadeship of the trio of the first three, together with the Russian Roman Evstifeev, disqualified in last lap, and resolved only with the final lap if favour of the Australian.
At the start were 26, of which 23 have completed the race and three disqualified.
Among them, unfortunately, our Alessandro Maltoni (~ >>) who shared the unpleasant experience together with two of the favorites Evstifeev Roman (RUS) and Ever Palma Olivares (MEX).
Alessandro Maltoni was stopped by the jury near the 9 km after havin passed to 8 km in 41:03 (8:39, 8:45, 9:01 and 9:22) around the 24th position.
Ever Palma Olivares was stopped by the jury after 10 km, while he was in the group of leaders.
