In the Provisional Entry List published yesterday by the IAAF and then official, also appear among others
20 km road walk men
Aleksandr Ivanov (personal best 1.19: 45 and season best 1:20:06)
Andrey Krivov (personal best 1.18: 25 and season best 1:20:43)
20 km road walk women
Svetlana Vasilyeva (personal best and season best 1:25:04)
According to some sources, thess inscriptions would be a mistake in filling out the entry list for Beijing, but this does nothing but feed the climate of uncertainty in the environment.
Here also the news published today on the Rusiian press agency Tass coming from German Magazine Sportschau and by Channel Television ARD, of which though expects confirmation by the IAAF.
Six representatives of the Olympic Training Center name Victor Čegina included in the Russian team for walking, are suspected of doping. It is reported by the German magazine Sportschau, owned channel ARD.
In July the doping samples of six walkers found EPO. The names of the athletes were not disclosed.
