Saturday, 23 took place in Druskininkai (LTU) the Championships of Lithuania on the distance of 10 km.
At the starting line in various age groups almost 100 walkers from Lithuania, Latvia, Belarus and Poland.
These are the most important results.
10 km Women
Third consecutive weekend of racing for Briigta Virbalytė-Dimšienė who won the Lithuanian title with a time of 43:26 after the brilliant performance in China and in Poland last weekend where she improved the Lithuanian record of the 10 km in 42:43.
In second place was the usual companion of adventure Neringa Aidietyte (also coached by Kastytis Pavillonis) ending the race in 44:49 in front of Inga Mastianica in 48:49.
10 km men
Among men in the 10 km undisputed wictory of Tadas Šuškevičius who finished the race in 41:04.
In second place ranks the home athlete Marius Šavelskis with a time of 42:20.
The bronze goes to Genadj Kozlovskij at 42:47.
