The first stage of the "Around Taihu 2015" is taking place this year in the city center of Mudu on a road course of 10km from point to point along the SBS TV City, Jinshan South Road, the Zhuyuan Road, the Shoutaohu Road to return to the SBS TV City.
Already before the start it is evident that the main reason for the morning will be the Mass Event: were expected to the start 10,000 participants, but the organisers claim they have release bibs for more than 15,000.
Among them was a very nice find Liu Hong to stroll with friends and Lu Xiuzhi while her partner in training Qieyang Shenie has been competing in the race for the Elite women.
10 km Elite men
Immediately after the start goes to lead a group led by Chinese Wang Zhen and by Colombian Eider Arevalo, with the Ukrainians Nazar Kovalenko and Sergii Budza and the two Russians Kirill Frolov and Petr Trofimov.
Follow a few meters the other Ukrainian Ivan Losev and Australian Dane Bird-Smith.
The first part of the course (about 4 km) is a long straight go-and-back that enables the group to better show its grain before to arrive a mid-race, but always with Wang Zhen and Eider Arevalo to lead.
Toward the seventh km Arevalo force the pace and comes off of a twenty meter Wang Zhen who suffers a bit; for Arevalo this advantage represent the sign of the victory of the day which will allow him to wear the yellow jersey tomorrow.

Also in this case the race offer immediately a physiognomy that will be the final one.
Immediately goes to led the Chinese Qieyang Shenjie, that says a lot about her current state of form and leaves some doubt on the fact that has not been selected for the World Championships, where certainly could fight for a medal.
Follows her the Ukraine Lyudmyla Olyanovska in turn followed by Lithuanian Brigita Virbalyte and the other Chinese Xie Lijuan.
The gap become a little more higer after the seventh km when the Chinese still increases the pace.
