In China there have been in the last fifteen days of november two conferences.

In the first, in Beijing, in front of all of the national coaches of all sports (about a hundred people) Sandro Damilano presented the 2015 season of his entire group.

The season has been full of results and satisfaction for the team of Damilano.

We recall that in March, five athletes obtained during the Chinese selections, the passport to the World Championships and after in June at La Coruna Liu Hong (who also won the IAAF Challenge and has been nominated by IAAF athlete of the year regarding race walk) broke the world record. In La Coruna we also assist to the great performance of Wang Zhen (1:18 00).

The World Championships were a great success: a gold medal, a silver, a fifth, a sixth and a seventh place.

To be noted that the score points obtained by this group allow its rating to be classified in 15th place in the team standings.

The second conference was held in Shanghai.

It was directed to the coaches of endurance who complete their training to reach the third level of learning.

The presence was thick, about 500 coaches, and Sandro Damilano presented the season's Liu Hong.

Meanwhile, the state TV CCTV5 included the Italian coach in the coaches of all sports nomination that the viewers will vote for "coach of the year."

Similarly Liu Hong has been included by CCTV5 in the nomination of athletes of the year for all sports.

The announcement will be made on Jan. 25, 2016 in Beijing.

The team, which will train in Italy, has been expanded this year to 8 people:

20 km. Men: Wang Zhen - Cai Zelin

20 km. Women: Liu Hong - Qieyang Shenije

50 km.: Zhang Lin - Yu Wei - Wang Zhendong - Lu Yadong

Meanwhile, in altitude in Lijiang, (2.400 m.) is currently running the first stages of the new season.

The period of altitude training will be of four weeks.

On December 5/6, the team will reach Italy.

The first meeting for 2016 will be the qualification race of China for the Olympics in program the first week of March.
