We start the annual publication of the lists provided with the support of the archive of "All-Athletics.com", with the following:

Five Italian athletes are in the top 100 list, in which were considered only one performance per athlete:

 

Giorgio Rubino with the performance of 1:21:28 obtained in Rio Maior (POR) on Apr 4, 2015 is 44th

Marco De Luca with the performance of 1:22:13 obtained in Rio Maior (POR) on Apr 4, 2015 is 60th

Massimo Stano with the performance of 1:22:16 obtained in Cassino (ITA) on Mar. 29, 2015 is 61th

Federico Tontodonati che con il tempo di 1:22:33 ottenuto a Cassino (ITA) on Mar. 29, 2015 is 69th

Leonardo Dei Tos che con il tempo di 1:22:58 ottenuto a Cassino (ITA) on Mar. 29, 2015 è 82nd

Guide the list the Japanese Yusuke Suzuki with the new world record of 1:16:38 obtained in Nomi (JPN), last Mar. 15, 2015, followed by Yohann Diniz (FRA) with the performance of 1:17:02 obtained in Arles (FRA) on tMar- 8, 2015, and Wang Zhen (CHN) with the performance of 1.18:00 obtained in La Coruna on Jun. 6, 2015.

 

It's very interesting to note that in the list of the top 100 athletes are represented 31 Countries (in 2014 are represented 29 Countries), and first Country is Japan with 13 athletes, followed by China (12) and Russia (10). 

 

It's also interesting to note that to enter in the list of the top 100 athletes this year it was necessary to obtain a time less than 1:23:30, 14 seconds faster than that of  del 2014 (1:23:44) obtained by German Nils Brembach (La Coruna, ESP - 1.5.2014).
