We continue the annual publication of the lists provided with the support of the archive of "All-Athletics.com", with the following:

Five Italian athletes are in the top 100 list, in which were considered only one performance per athlete:

Eleonora Anna Giorgi with the performance of 1:26:17 obtained in Murcia (ESP) on May 17, 2015 is 7th

Elisa Rigaudo with the performance of 1:28:01 obtained in Murcia (ESP) on May 17, 2015 is 14th

Antonella Palmisano with the performance of 1:28:40 obtained in Dudince (SVK) on March 21, 2015 is 17th

Valentina Trapletti with the performance of 1:31:44 obtained in La Coruna (ESP) on June 6, .2015 is 52nd

Federica Ferraro with the performance of 1:33:10 obtained in Riposto (ITA) on February 1, 2015 is 84th

Guide the list the Chinese Liu Hong with the new world record of 1:24:38 obtained in La Coruna (ESP), last June 6, 2015, followed by Elmira Alembekova (RUS) with the performance of 1:24:47 obtained in Sochi (RUS) on February 27, 2015, and Marina Pandakova (RUS) with the performance of 1:25:03 obtained in Sochi.

It's very interesting to note that in the list of the top 100 athletes are represented 31 Countries (in 2014 are represented 29 Countries), and first Country is China with 24 athletes, followed by Russia (15) and Spain (6). 

It's also interesting to note that to enter in the list of the top 100 athletes this year it was necessary to obtain a performance of 1:234:18, 1’22” seconds faster than the performance of 2014 (1:35:30) obtained by Jung-Kyung Lee (KOR - Yeosu, KOR- 15.7.2014).
