We continue the annual publication of the lists provided with the support of the archive of "All-Athletics.com", with the following:

Five Italian athletes are in the top 100 list, in which were considered only one performance per athlete:

 

Marco De Luca with the performance of 3:46:21 obtained in Murcia (ESP) on May 17, 2015 is 19th

Federico Torodonati with the performance of 3:49:27 obtained in Andernach (GER) on October 10, 2015 is 28th

Matteo Giupponi with the performance of 3:49:52 obtained in Dudince (SVK) on March 21, 2015 is 29th

Teodorico Caporaso with the performance of 3:51:44 obtained in Murcia (ESP) on May 17, 2015 is 42nd

Lorenzo Dessì with the performance of 4:02:45 obtained in Murcia (ESP) on May 17, 2015 is 100th

 

 

Guide the list the Slovak  Matej Toth with the performance of  3:34:38 obtained in Dudince (SVK), last March 21, 2015, followed by Hiromi Arai (JPN) with the performance of 3:40:20 obtained in Wajima (JAP) on April 19, 2015, and by Takayuki Tanii (JPN) with the performance of 3:42:01 obtained in Wajima.

 

It's very interesting to note that in the list of the top 100 athletes are represented 33 Countries (in 2014 are represented 31 Countries), and first Country is China with 215 athletes, followed by Japan (11) and Ukraine (7). 

 

It's also interesting to note that to enter in the list of the top 100 athletes this year it was necessary to obtain a performance of 4:02:45, 6’33” seconds faster than the performance of 2014  (4:09:18) obtained by Xavier Moreno (ECU - Dudince, SVK - 22.3.2014).
