We continue the annual publication of the lists provided with the support of the archive of "All-Athletics.com", with the following:

Five Italian athletes are in the top 100 list, in which were considered only one performance per athlete:

 

Francesco Fortunato with the performance of 1:24:44 obtained in Cassino (ITA) on March 29, 2015 is 40th

Michele Antonelli with the performance of 1:25:14 obtained in Cassino (ITA) on March 29, 2015 is 46th

Vito Minei with the performance of 1:25:46 obtained in Tallin (EST) on July 10, 2015 is 54th

Alessandro Maltoni with the performance of 1:25:56 obtained in Cassino (ITA) on March 29, 2015 is 56th

Andrea Agrusti with the performance of 1:24:14 obtained in Grottammare (ITA) on October 18, 2015 è 85th

 

 

Leads the list the Japanese Daisuke Matsunaga with the performance of 1:19:08, obtained in Asian 20 km Championships in Nomi (JPN), last March 15, 2015, followed by the team-mate Kai Kobayashi (JPN) with the performance of 1:19:12, obtained in the same competition and Kailua Wang (CHN), with the performance of 1:20:01 obtained in Chambaishan (CHN) on September 6, 2015 at Chinese Autumn Championships

 

It 's very interesting to note that in the list of the top 100 athletes are represented 26 Countries (in 2014 are represented 28 Countries), and in this case the list is leaded by Cina with 23 athletes, followed by Japan (19) and Russia (12).

 

It's also interesting to note that to enter in the list of the top 100 athletes this year it was necessary to obtain a time less than 1:28:43, 46" faster than that of 2014 (1:29:29) obtained by Australian Nicholas Dewar (Hobart, AUS - February 2, 2014).
