December 19 was held in Sumy in Ukraine the final race of the Ukrainian Cup in Race Walk, with a track race over the distance of 5.000m.

The same was attended by a record number of walkers: 175. And this despite the fact that a group of leaders is now the training center of the Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan.

5.000m track walk men

The victory in the men's race went to Igor Hlavan from Kiev region, who won the 5000 meters with a time of 19:25.67

In second place was Alexander Venhlovskyy with a time of 20:09.75 while third place went to the U23 athlete Sergey Svitlychny with a time of 20:10.22 which obviously also won in its category

5.000m march on track women

The victory went to Inna Kashina with the performance of 21:46.21.

Second place went to Galina Yakovcuk (22:53.90) and third place for Olena Shevcuk (23:13.90)

The team competition was won by the Sumy region, second the representatives of Zhytomyr, and the third region of Kiev.
