14/01/2016   Bratislava (SVK): Toth return to races and meet Heffernan






The Indoor Meeting of Bratislava will see the return to racing of Matej Toth who’s back from Tenerife in the Canary Islands and is preparing to his home in Banska Bystrica also using a hypoxic tent that simulates a stay in altitude of about 3,000m.

 

The race in Bratislava Toth should meet, as the main opponent, former world champion in the 50 km of Moscow in 2013, Robert Heffernan and his compatriot Brendan Boyce that last year in Dudince on March 21, 2015 established his personal best with the performance of 3:48:55.

They also announced their presence the British Tom Bosworth capable on 20km of a good 1:22:20 (obtained in Podebrady on April 12, 2014) and the Polish Grzegorz Sudol with his personal best on 50km of 3:41:20 (obtained in Moscow on August 14, 2013).

 

The personal best of these athletes on the distance of 5.000m indoor are the following:

- Matej Toth: 18:34.56 (2012)

- Robert Heffernan: 19:06:58 (2012)

- Brendan Boyce: 20:03.69 (2011)

- Tom Bosworth: 19:50.52 (2012)
