Sunday, February 14 in Erfurt in Germany during the Masters Championships were also held the race walk Indoor Championships in Germany on the classic distance of 3.000m for women and 5.000m  for men.
 
 
5.000m indoor men
 
Only four athletes at the start, of which one is disqualified, but with the results of great technical value.
 
The victory went to Christopher Linke in 18:44.32 with a new personal best (previous 19:19:45 obtained in Leipzig - GER on Feb. 26, 2011).
Second place went to Nils Brembach in 18:46.77 also with new personal best (previous 19:39.88 obtained in Frankfirth - GER on jan. 27, 2013).
Third place went to Hagen Pohle in 18:54.77 again with new personal best (previous 20:05.29 obtained in Leipzig - GER on Feb. 21, 2009).
 
Virtually re-written at the time, the men's 2016 ranking indoor.
