Saturday the first European leg of the IAAF Challenge will take place in Dudince.
The entry list are not yet final but already have a good number of athletes.
20 km men
Among the entries the most important names are those of
Eder Sanchez (MEX) credited of 1:18:34 obtained in 2008 in Cheboksary (RUS)
Robert Heffernan (IRL) credited of 1:19:22 also obtained in 2008 in Cheboksary (RUS)
Omar Segura (MEX) credited of a most recent 1:20:03 obtained in 2014 in Taicang (CHN)
David Tomala (POL) credited of 1:20:50 obtained in 2012 in Zaniemsyl (POL)
and to close the list of athletes under the 1:21:00 time even
Matteo Giupponi (ITA) credited of 1:20:58 obtained in 2012 in Lugano (SUI)
But among the fighters to the victory we would also include Tom Bosworth (GBR) in high growth during 2016, credited of 1:22:20.
It is not currently among those entries in either the 20km or 50km the local star Matej Toth.
20 km women
Favors are divided between:

With a time under 1:28:00 is also entered Claudia Stef (ROU) (for her 1:27:41 in 2004).
Among the entry we are surprised to see Athanasia Tsoumeleka (GRE), the Olympic champion in Athens in 2004, who after the disqualification for doping she was dedicated to long distance running.
As outsiders we see Erica Rocha de Sena (BRA - 1:29:37,) Mirna Ortiz (GUA - 1:28:31), Neringa Aidietyte (LTU - 1:29:01) and the evergreen Susana Feitor (POR - 1: 28:44)
50 km men
Large the presence of entry athletes: the rest Dudince is known because of its 50km.
