20 km men

This year the performance was not as impressive as that of 2015, as Yusuke Suzuki set a new world record over the distance, but still of great interest.
The race was also attended by some non-Asian athletes who competed in the preparation of the Olympic Games in Rio.

For this reason we propose the two distinctly arrival orders: the general and that of the Asian Championships.

The race was won by Daisuke Matsunaga (JPN) who was not part of the Japanese team for the Asian Championships.
Matsunaga has covered the distance in 1:18:53 which is currently the third best world performance of the year.
Matsunaga has thus redeemed the disqualification, suffered in Kobe, the last lap of the Japanese Championships a month ago.
