Today, during the traditional international race walk meeting in Podebrady, the best individual placing is obtained by Valentina Trapletti that closes in fifth position the 20km. The 30 year old of Bracco Athletic stops the clock at 1:31:49 (45:48 passing the halfway point), just 5 seconds from the personal best, his third best career result.

Ninth place for Nicole Colombi that with 1:33:39 rewrites of more than 3 minutes the PB; In progress also Mariavittoria Becchetti, thirteenth in 1:34:01. Fourteenth Sibilla Di Vincenzo (1:34:24). Victory  to Mexican Alejandra Ortega (1:29:35) followed by the Polish Paulina Buzlak (1:30:36) and Agnieszka Szwarnog (1:30:50).
In the ranking of the teams success to Slovakia in front of Italy.
 
Despite a cold afternoon (temperature around 8 degrees) and rainy, the men's 20km sees the finish line six athletes under the  threshold of 1:20:00.
Victory to Swedish Perseus Karlstrom (1:19:11) on the German Christopher Linke (1:19:19) and on the Mexican Omar Pineda (1:19:20) who has the better of fellow Jesus Vega (1:19:20) and Ever Palma (1:19:38). 
Sixth the German Hagen Pohle (1:19:58). The first Italian to cross the finish line is Leonardo Dei Tos (1:23:10). Teodorico Caporaso was 28th with his fastest time ever over the distance in 1:23:41 as well as Andrea Agrusti ending 34th in 1:25:38.
