In the track of XXV Aprile in Milan the sixth edition of the Walk & Middle Distance Night - Memorial Ugo Grassia, organized by Giorgio Rondelli, provides interesting results.
Good test of Eleonora Giorgi efficiency which closes in 20:31.46 in the 5000 track walk, second personal time ever behind the 20:01.80 of his best world performance realized in Misterbianco in 2014.
The athlete of Milan passes in the home track in 8:11 to 2000, 12:21 to 3000 and 16:28 on the fourth kilometer.
Second on the finish line is the Australian Regan Lamble, recently seventh in Rio Maior, who with a time of 21:19:55 obtains the new personal best (previous of 22:6:54 obtained in Sydney on Feb. 18, 2012).
Third is Valentina Trapletti in 22:00:08.
In the men's race, tug of war between Matteo Giupponi and Leonardo Dei Tos: victory to Bergamo athlete, the Giorgi boyfriend, which keeps 4 seconds of margin to 3 km completing the distance of 5.000m with the personal best of 19:18:33 (so far he had a 19:55.48 in 2012) against the 19:22.64 of Dei Tos.
To all a good test in view of the World Race Walk Team Championships in Rome.
