Last Saturday was held in Békéscsaba the Hungarian road walk championship U23, open race even the senior.

These are the most important results.

20 km men

Victory without apparent difficulty went to Mate Helebrandt (HUN) with a time of 1:22:38 the new personal best (1:22:39 the former was obtained in Podebrady on 13.04.2013).

Second place in the championship for Bence Barnabas Venyercsán (HUN) in 1:27:34 which preceded Tomasz Bagdány (HUN - 1:27:52)

Outside the championship standings the athlete Artur Brzozowski (POL) won the second position in the race with the time of 1:22:42 not far from his personal best (1:22:16 obtained in Torun - POL - July 20, 2013 )

20 km women

Without any discussion the victory of Viktória Madarász in 1:30:47, also new personal best. One week ago in Taicang in China she cover the same distance in the leg of the IAAF Challenge all under the rain and obtaining the third place with the time of 1:32:33.

This is for Viktória Madarász the seventh National Gold in 2o km race walk.

Second place went to Rita Récsei in 1:35:33, while the bronze goes to Anett Torma in 1:37:57.
