The athlete of the Fiamme Gialle imposes to favorite of the eve Diego Garcia (ESP) and Jean Blancheteau (FRA) with his new personal best of 39:46.25, which represents the fourth performace ever in Italy in the U23 category.

 

At the moment this time is also the best time of the year worldwide.

 

The athlete of Fiamme Gialle walk for about seven km attached to favorite Diego Garcia (ESP) and Jean Blancheteau (FRA), then force the pace and finishing off the last 3000m in 11:32.

Michele Antonelli (ITA) is sixth in 41:47.10.

As was forecast in the eve, victory without much difficulty to Laura Garcia-Caro (ESP), the infirmary student of LEPE Madrid coached by Quintana, with a time of 44: 55.81, not too far from her personal best of 44: 32.84 (obtained in Eugene on July 23, 2014 during the World Junior Championships).

 

Second place went to the local idol, the beautiful Chahinez Nasri (TUN) in 45: 54.90 that also gets personal best (previous 46:34.68 obtained in Toulouse on November 15, 2015) and in front of the other Spanish Lidia Sanchez Puebla (46:18.67), which in turn precedes Amanda Cano (ESP - 44: 37.85).

 

 

Fifth place went to Nicole Colombi (ITA) in 47: 21:53. For her personal best (previous of 47:38.82 btained in Eugene on 07.23.2014 during the Junior World Championships).

Personal best also for the sixth: Edna Barros (POR) in 47: 57.73 (previous of 48: 31.93 obtained in Eskilstuna on July 16, 2015).

 

Seventh Eleonora Dominici (ITA) in 48:28.40 and eighth Ameni Mannai (TUN) in 48:36.00.
