On the occasion of the International Meeting "Ciudad de Murcia" local idol Miguel Angel Lopez has recorded with the victory in meeting the excellent time of 18:46.95, which represents the third performance of the season away, knocking down Francesco Fortunato (ITA) who had recently obtained in Modena the performance of 18:53.91.

In second place in Murcia it ranked Ivan Paredes Pajuelo (ESP) in 19:16.55.

In third place Robert Heffernan (IRL) in 19:37.96.
