Bydgoszcz, the venue of the next World Championship U20 also hosted last weekend the Championships of Poland in the framework of which also took place the two walking events over a distance of 20km.
As always it happens in Eastern Europe these championships are "open" and allow the participation of athletes from different Countries. In this case the show is insured and the walkers have the opportunity to compete in a greater number of races.
We do not hide that this should be a model to be followed also in our Country.
In particular to the race of women participated athletes of the Czech Rep., Hungary, Great Britain, Slovakia and distant India.
Also participation of India in the race of men, as well as Slovakia, Georgia and Hungary.
Unfortunately the temperature was not ideal: at the start were 27°C with humidity of 70%, but during the race the temperature was close to 30°. This has affected the results that were not of high standard.
