This morning in Gijon (ESP) took place the race of the women of the Spanish Championships on track with the track walk on 10,000m.
The race was a solo of Raquel Gonzalez who won the title with a new Spanish record on the distance of 42:14.12.
The young athlete of Barcelona led the race from the start to finish with these split times:

The bronze went to Julia Takacs in 43:55.70 who held the previous Spanish record with a time of 42:23:37 established in Alcobendas on July 26, 2014.
Thirteen athletes at the start of which 12 arrived and one DQ.
