24/10/2016   Takahata (JPN): other events of All Japan Championships






On the day of Kay Kobayashi in Takahata also we saw other interesting results in other races on the program.

 
As usual in Japan (like in China and some other Countries) the day of the race walk is open for all age categories.
The race of 50km had seen at the start as many as 37 athletes of which 26 had completed the race (6 DNF and 5 DQ): this is already a number that should make us reflect because in European competitions is very difficult to see often.
In this case organizers have the right visibility to the specialties on which the Far East is focusing a lot in perspective Tokyo 2020.

Victory for Eiki Takahashi (JPN) with a time of 1:21:08
Second place to Toshikazu Yamanishi (JPN) in 1:22:14
Third place to Fumitaka Oikawa (JPN) in 1:22:55
 
Ninety-seven athletes at the start of which 81 have completed the race, 6 DNF and 10 DQ.
 
 
20km women
 
Victory for Chiaki Asada (JPN) with a time of 1:34:07
Second place to Rena Goto (JPN) in 1:35:27
Third place to Ai Michiguchi (JPN) in 1:36:44
 
Twenty-six athletes at the start of which 24 have completed the race and 2 DQ.
 
 
10km women
 
Victory for Nanoka Ueda (JPN) with a time of 50:03
Second place to Chiho Asamizu (JPN) in 50:57
Third place went to Natsumi Wada (JPN) in 50:58
 
Ten athletes at the start of which 8 have completed the race and 2 DQ.
