Last Saturday in Bucharest, Romania, took place the local championship of 50km men road walk.

In addition, as a corollary to this race, was also held a competition reserved for women on the distance of 10km.

At the start they were nine athletes.
 
The victory went to Stefan Narcis Mihaila recently arrived 31st at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro where he had established his new personal best with a time of 4:02:46.
His second 50km in just over two months, has completed in a time of 4:28:20.
 
Second place went to Florin Alin Stirbu with the time 4:34:40, while the bronze was won by Attila Zoltan Balog with a time of 4:59:30

Absent the best of the participants in Rio de Janeiro, Andreea Arsine, where she arrived 45th in 1:38:16.
 
The victory so it was not difficult task for another of the participants in Rio, Ana Veronica Rodeanu who finished the race of 10km in 49:25.20 (at the Olympic Games was finished in 50th place in 1:38:42).
Second place to Micaela Acatrinei in 50:41.80, while third place was the prerogative of Liliana Manolache in 51:10.10.
 
Seventeen athletes at the start of which 15 have completed the race and 2 DQ.
 
In the ranking to win both teams level men and women for the CSU Resita.
