11/12/2016   Cehegin (ESP): VI winter track walk championship






Cehegin Spanish small town of just over 16,000 inhabitants located in the province of Murcia has hosted this morning the sixth winter track walk championship for the categories U16, U18 and U20.

 

Indoor races were held on the distance of 3.000m for the category U16 girls while for all other categories the distance was that of 5.000m.

 

Important the numbers of participants who saw the start:

- U16 girls: 33 participants

- U16 boys: 27 participants

- U18 girls: 20 participants

- U18 boys: 22 participants

- U20 women: 13 participants

- U20 men: 6 participants

 

Below are the winners of medals in the individual categories.

 

 

3.000m track walk U16 girls

 

Winner is Celia Vilchez Ferrari in 15:07.37

Second place to Alicia Lumbreras Gonzalez  in 15:10.12

Third place to Ana Pineiro Pineiro in 15:10.75

 

 

5.000m track walk U16 boys

 

Winner is Jose Luis Hidalgo Rodriguez in 24:10.75

Second place to Jorge Lopez De La Cueva in 24:13.05

Third place to Hugo Martinez Casanova in 24:17.97

 

 

5.000m track walk U18 girls

 

Winner is Ana Pulgarin Cardeno in 25:35.73

Second place to Aria Rivas Iglesias in 25:38,96

Third place to Maria Alarcon Martinez in 25:53.33

 

 

5.000m track walk U18 boys

 

Winner is Roberto Veiro Perez in 22:11.38

Second place to Pedro Conesa Ceron in 22:25.54

Third place to Yeray Gonzalez Luis in 22:31.80

 

 

5.000m track walk U20 women

 

Winner is Marina Pena Alonso in 24.24.43

Second place to Antia Chamosa Dacasa in 24:29.37

Third place to Irene Montejo Garces De Marcilla in 24:33.23

 

 

5.000m track walk U20 men

 

Winner is Jose Manuel Perez Rubio in 22:00.90

Second place to Brais Prieto Espino in 23:38.94

Third place to Enrique Santisteban Fernandez in 24:46.16
