Sunday, December 11th was played at Leiria in Portugal the 2nd Leiria Race Ralk Challenge.

The distances were those of the Olympic program (20km for both men and women) over a number of male and female extra races open to all categories from youth to master.

Fair participation as regards the number of the athletes to the start.

20km road walk men

The victory went to Miguel Carvalho with the time of 1:29:38

Second place went to Miguel Rodrigues in 1:29:46

Third place went to Cui Coelho in 1:30: 37

Nine athletes at the start of which eight have completed the race and 1 DQ

20km road walk women

Only two athletes at the start.

Victory to the steel Ines Henriques in 1:32:40. Ines completed its sixth 20km during the year of the Olympic Games (all between 1:29:00 - Rome, ITA May 7, 2016 and 1:32:48 - Ciudad Juarez, MEX March 6, 2016)

Second place went to Vera Portela in 1:51:50.
