Important, as usual, the numerical participation that makes Getafe an anchor in winter Spanish of race walk.

The most important races were held over a distance of 10km road walk.

10km road walk men

Victory without any difficulty by Alvaro Martin with a time of 39:56.

The athlete who had already won the 2015 edition established the new personal best over the distance (the official previous one of  41:52 was obtained in Murcia on March 3, 2013, but he had obtained an unofficial 40:05 at 10km split in Caceres 20km on the March 20, 2016)

Second place to Diego Garcia in 41:04

Third place to Marc Tur in 41:44

At the start were 14 athletes of which 12 finished the race and 2 DQ

10km road walk women

Victory of Laura Garcia-Caro in 45:21.

The athlete coached by Antonio Quintana, however, must fight until the end to get the better on Lidia Sanchez Puebla ending in second place with a time of 45:26.

Third place went to Maria Jose Poves in 47:05.

Ten athletes at the start and all have completed the race.

10km road walk U20 men

Very interesting  the victory of Isaac Martin Garcia to the new personal best with a time of 46:36 (the previous best of 49:17 had been established in La Coruna on May 28, 2016).

Second place to Daniel Jimeno Rivera in 47:07 (new personal best also for him; the previous of 47:35 obtained in Caceres on March 20, 2016).

Third place went to Jose Mestre Martin in 47:14 (year of birth 2001)

Victory for Irene Montejo Garces de Marcilla obtaining the new personal best with a time of 46:36 (the previous best of 49:04 had been established in Caceres on March 20, 2016).

Second place to Antia Chamosa Dacasa in 50:26

Third place to Lara Carasa Ballesteros at 51:26
