Forty-two years old, beautiful, funny and moreover an iron will.
Twenty-seven (or maybe more) of these forty-two years spent traveling the world carrying high the flag of Portugal on race walk from that far August 25, 1989 when little more than fourteen came sixth in Varazdin (23:29.24 on 5.000m track walk) at European Championship Junior in front of Rossella Giordano (ITA).
It will be a chance, but either Rossella Giordano and Susana Feitor, they are still on th go: great the wines of vintage 1972 and 1975.
And a few days ago, the cherry on the cake for the Portuguese champion.
Susana Feitor has been appointed by the Government of Portugal to join the Conselho Nacional do Desporto (CNO) of Portugal, currently restricted number of 37 members.
No more words needed.
Perhaps the true meaning of what Susana Feitor represented along its path over time is given by the table of her progressions in the 20 km road walk starting in 1989.
