While in Italy took place the National U20 and U23 Championships in Pombal (POR), took place the Portuguese U18 Championships that will be held in Italy next weekend.

The two races over the classic distance of 3.000m for women and 5.000m for men were also valid for the Clubs National U18 Championships.

3.000m indoor walk U18 girls

Wins the race Angela Carvalho (POR) in 15:40.30

Second place to Joana Pontes (POR) in 15:42.84

Bronze to Ana Vicente (POR) in 16:46.88

Ten athletes at the start of which nine have completed the race and 1 DNF

5.000m indoor walk U18 boys

Wins the race Daniel Gouveia (POR) in 23:45.46.  He was already finished third in the U20 championships on Jan 28, 2017 in 22:44.06.

Second place to Ruben Santos (POR) in 23:46.00

Bronze to Joao Bernardo (POR) in 25:20.10

Six athletes at the start of which four have completed the race, 1 DNF and 1 DQ.
