Start with a double victory for Germany  the match ITA-FRA-GER in Halle (GER)

 
 
5000 indoor U20 men
 
 
Leo Kopp (GER) as expected won in 19:58.51 and he also established the new personal best.
Second place to David Kuster (FRA) in 20: 20.11 even him to personal best.
The two dominate the race contending for over 3,000m until  6 laps to go Kopp forced the pace and not longer reached.
After the race he said: "It was such a joy, and I enjoyed it a lot. This is precisely the competitive sports I want to do."
 
Third place to Justin Bournier (FRA) in 21: 33.35 while the surprise is the DQ at home of Niklas Richter (GER).
 
The italians: the young Davide Finocchietti, (16 years old and thus the youngest of the Italian team), it is good fourth in 21:48.47.
Diego Chirivì is fifth in 21:51.55.
 
 
3000 indoor U20 women
 
Teresa Zurek immediately goes to set the pace.
The German  athlete lap after lap earns a good margin on team-mate Julia Richter and Eloise Terrec (FRA) and Camille Aurriere (FRA) with the Italians to close the group.
Teresa Zurek ends with the first performance in career under 13 minutes (12:59.17) in front of team-mate (13:47.54) she also at the personal best.
Third place to Eloise Terrec (FRA) in 13:56.04 (personal best)

Fourth place to Camille Aurriere (FRA) in 14:12.77 (personal best).

 
The Italians: Annalisa Russo is fifth in 14: 38.94 while Francesca Bocchino comes away from her PB in 15:20:25.
