Great result today at the Australian Track Championships in the race of 10.000m track walk.
Dane-Bird-Smith won the Australian title with a time of 38:34.23 that represents his new personal best (previous of 38:44.41 obtained in Sydney on April 1, 2016).
This result puts him in first place in 2017 world list on 10.000m track walk in front of Fumitaka Oikawa (JPN) who obtained in the same event the time of 40:25.32 the last January 08, 2017 in Tokyo (JPN).
In second place arrived Rhydian Crowley (AUS) in 41:35.60.
Third place to Tyler Jones (AUS) in 42:01:39
In the women's race, the victory went to Katie Hayward (AUS) in 45:51.09
Second place to Rachel Tallent (AUS) in 46:24.07
Third place to Jessica Pickless (AUS) in 46:31.34
