Women
There was no doubt that he had won her, Teresa Zurek (GER), the young German who has dominated the length and breadth of the indoor season.
Even today Zurek gave shows of its value after passing half race in 23:01 and going quiet to victory in 45:53 with a second part of the race in 42:52, faster than the first.
Obviously we are facing the new personal best of 33" lowers that the previous of 46:26 established only three weeks ago on March 19, 2017 in Lugano.
To compete shoulder to shoulder with her Meryem Bekmez (TUR) who had passed at 3km along with Teresa Zurek in 13:56, however collecting well 4 red cards, suffers a fast DQ despite of the Pit Lane Rule.
Second place went to Aurriere Camille (FRA) in 48:46 (24:11 + 24:25). Also for her new personal best (previous of 50:29 established in Saint Sebastier-sur-Loire, FRA on March 13, 2016).
Third place to Enni Nurmi (FIN) in 48:40 (23:53 + 24:47).
Thirty-four athletes at the start of which 33 arrived and 1 DQ.
Julia Richter (GER) who, at 7km, was second behind the team-mate Teresa Zurek was penalized of 120" and finishes after the stop in the Pit Lane area in 6th place (49:42).

Men
The race of U20 men on the other hand had a greater interest in the first of the podium positions, although the victory went as usual to Leo Kopp (GER).
A full-blown fight with the top three that break down all their personal best.
Halfway through the race (20:26) were still three together: Leo Kopp, David Kuster (FRA) and Lukasz Niedzialek (POL).
The three remained together until the seventh km, where David Kuster was forcing the pace. He resisted only Leo Kop passing overhead to 8km (33:09).
The German then imposed his class and with the final three km concluded in 4:06, 4:11 and 3:58 won in 41:19, for him the new personal best (41:29 previous established only three weeks ago on March 19, 2017 in Lugano).
Second place to David Kuster (FRA) in 41:41.
For him new personal best (43:42 previous established in Rome on May 07, 2016)
Third place went to Niedzialek Lukasz (POL) in 41:53.
Also for him new personal best (43:42 previous established in Podebrady on April 09, 2016)
Thirty athletes at the start, 30 arrived and 1 DQ (plus two penalized in the Pit Lane area)
