Last Saturday, took place the first day of the Spanish Championship for Club 2017 called "La Liga Atletismo".
The championship are running as club meetings in different cities and the clubs are divided according to the results of the previous year in
- division of honor and
- first division
Each match includes four men's teams and four women's teams for a total of 16 matches
On the first day, the teams receive the 4, 3, 2 and 1 scalar score depending on their placement and these scores will determine matches for the second day.
After the second day (May 20th), the first eight teams will compete for the Spanish Champion title, while the other eight will retire in the first division.
Marcia dal Mondo merely publishes the results of the "Division of Honor" matches whose races took place on the distance of 5,000m on the track:
Meeting A: men in Zaragoza and women in San Sebastian
Meeting B: both men and women in Barcelona
Meeting C: men in Alcobendas and women in Castellon
Meeting D: men in Elche and women in Alcobendas

The three best results were obtained in the D match at Elche where the race was won by Daniel Chamosa Dacasa (ESP) in 20:41.62
Second place to Jose Manuel Perez Rubio (ESP) in 20:44.85
Third place to Ivan Lopez Perez (ESP) in 20:45.49

The three best results were in meeting D at Alcobendas where the race was won by Ainhoa Pinedo Gonzalez (ESP) in 22:32.93

Third place to Antia Chamosa Dacasa (ESP) in 23:40.64
