The past weekends hosted the LXXVIII edition of the Universitay Athletics Championships in Spain at Cartagena.
Race events are carried out on the 5.000m track for women and 10.000m track for men.
5.000m track walk women
Thirteen athletes at the start and all completed the race, MA again with one another. Still note the absence of Raquel Gonzalez Campos, who had actually been entered.
The victory went to Marcia Perez Garcia (ESP) who won, undisturbed, in 21.25.25.
Second place to Lluna Capdevila Marza (ESP) in 23:49.94
Third place to Andrea Cabre Carceller (ESP) in 23:53.61
10,000m track walk men
Six athletes at the start and only four at the finish with 2 DQ.
It is historichal the podium with all the athletes from UCAM (Universiade Catolica San Antonio de Murcia) to split the medals.
The win went to Miguel Angel Lopez (ESP) in 39:51.64
Second place to Manuel Bermudez Jimenez (ESP) in 42:23.03
Third place to Benjamin Sanchez Bermejo (ESP) in 45:09.13
