10,000m track walk U23 women

There are 18 entered athletes.

This is supposed to be the most interesting race in our opinion.

We use the conditional because we do not know if the two Lazio athletes, Diana Cacciotti, coached by Sandro Bellucci, and Eleonora Dominici, coached by Alba Milana, will be able to dispose of the fatigue of the beautiful race last Saturday at the IAAF Challenge in Coruna where they broke their personal best and also obtained a good placement.
Those who certainly will have missed the efforts of the previous 20km of European Cup in Podebrady (1:37:26) at the beginning of the month will be Nicole Colombi, coached by Renato Cortinovis.

Victory should therefore be a matter of three.

For other medals as outsiders we also see Lidia Barcella (48:55.08).

Athlete 20km road - Year 10.000 track - Year 10km road - Year

Interesting curiosity is that the personal bests of Eleonora Dominici and Nicole Colombi have all been made in international competitions
- Dominici: 20km in La Coruna (ESP), 10,000m track in Eskilstuna (SWE), 10km road in Taicang (CHN)
- Colombi: 20km in Podebrady (CZE), 10,000m track in Tunis (TUN), 10km road in Taicang (CHN)
while Cacciotti in La Coruna is the one who made the biggest leap in quality: from 1:44:08 of Canania 2016 to 1:34:59 last Saturday (-9:09).

There can be no better demonstration than competing abroad and measuring with the international world stimulates to make it better and better.
