The Brasil Trophy, a kind of outdoor individual championship, takes place on the 20km classical distance, along the central Avenida Lauro Gomes, San Bernardo do Campo on the 1000m (500 go & back) circuit.

Departures were distinct:

- at 9:00: women

20km men

There was no doubt, at the start, that the title went to Caio Bonfim (BRA).

The strong Brazilian athlete has been victorious for the fifth consecutive time with the good time of 1:21:25.

In the space of a week Caio Bonfim (he had competed in La Coruna on June 3, 2017 finishing in 1.21: 04) has achieved, with this time, the tenth performance of his career on 20km.
