10.000m track walk U18 boys

The crowded start list lacks Andrea Orsoni, sick, and the race deprives us of the most beautiful duel fot the victory with Davide Finocchietti.

There is absolutely no story. Even after the first 100m race Davide Finocchietti is headed for about five meters.
It will no longer be reached by anyone and will double everyone except the second.

At 3.000m Davide Finocchietti pass in 13:23.81 with a fifty-meter advantage over Alessandro Perrone, Giorgio Giuliani, Francesco Cecere, Leonardo Ciregia, Aldo Andrei and Mikias Meli, and continue to 5,000m, while Finocchietti pass in 22:14.53.

At 6.000m Davide Finocchietti's solo walkway continues in 26:48.97, but behind him Alessandro Perrone and Giorgio Giuliani have detached for other medals Aldo Andrei and Mikias Meli.

At 7.000m the situation has changed a bit: Davide Finocchietti (31.26.81) always in the lead while for silver Giorgio Giuliani took off thirty meters Alessandro Perrone. Following are Aldo Andrei and Mikias Meli who are then stopped in the Pit Lane Area.
Same thing also for Francesco Cecere, Angelo Romano and Raffaele Alessandro Cariati. The latter two will then be disqualified.

At 8.000m (36:11.99), the situation seems to be crystallized: Davide Finocchietti, then Giorgio Giuliani, while for bronze Alessandro Perrone has a fifteen-meter lead on Aldo Andrei who seems to be in a position to recover.

Ai 9.000m. Davide Finocchietti pass in 40:57.05. Is followed by Giorgio Giuliani. The fight for bronze is exciting as Aldo Andrei has reached Alessandro Perrone.

Victory to Davide Finocchietti in 45:40.11
