17/06/2017   Monterrey (MEX): Eder Sanchez wins Mexican Championships






Eder Sánchez, returned to winning the Mexican Champions title.

The race took place on Satorday, June 17 in Monterrey on the distance of 20km. road walk, but start and arrival were in track.
 
 
Eder Sanchez won with time of 1:22:27.61 (1:22:28), followed by Pedro Daniel Gómez who recorded the time of 1:22:47.91 (1:22:48). The third place went to Jesus Tadeo Vega in 1:23:12.85 (1:23:13).
 
Both Eder Sanchez Teran and Tadeo Vega have achieved in this race their best performance of this season, and will be able to return to training with maximum impetus after obtaining the integration into the Mexican team participating in the athletics world championships of London.
 
At the race of Monterrey also took part in Perseus Karlstrom who arrive fifth in 1:24:41.27 (1:24:42)
 
 
For his part Pedro Daniel Gómez, second in the 20km National Championship, had also obtained the standard of 50km (3:48:04) on March 25 in Dudince, which is his personal best, and in London he will participate on this distance.
