19/06/2017   Blois (FRA): very good female results in the National Meeting of Blois

Saturday June 17 will be a day to remember for the young Tunisian Chahineze Nasri.

During the Blois National Meeting (FRA) there was a track walk on the distance of 5,000m with results of great interest.

Chahineze Nasri (TUN) has stopped the clock on 21:23.85 new personal best, but above all at the same time:

- Tunisia's new record,

- New record of Arab Countries,

- Africa's new record

The previous performance belonged to the same athlete and was obtained on the same track in Blois, on the same meeting held on June 8, 2016, when she stopped the clock on 21:49:27.

Second place and personal best also for Emilie Menuet (FRA) in 21:26.05.

Also this new national record of France improving the previous of 21:41:72 obtained on the same track in Blois, at the same meeting held on July 1, 2015.

Third place to Marine Quennehen (FRA) in 22:50.68 also for her personal best (previous of 23:28.33 obtained in Angers, FRA on June 25, 2016 during the National Championships).

In addition to this brilliant series of results to point out the presence at the start of 15 athletes; in short a very nice meeting.
